From my mother's subconscious...
Holy Mama! has moved to holymama.org, please update your links and feeds. Thank you!

I've told you how weird and wonderful J-Mom is, mother to HolySister and myself. I don't think I've told you how she dreams in great detail, or how she ALWAYS remembers her dreams. (she taught herself this skill as a child)

I know, i know. I said I was busy, and I am. This isnt' really me blogging, it's J-Mom. Just cutting and pasting what follows, because it was too wonderfully odd not to share. (I read it twice)

I will call today or tomorrow.
Love,
Mom
PS. Kelsey, I dreamed a new phrase you may want to use
in your blog someday or HolySister could use it in a
poem- "bored shorts". It was part of a dream I had
about wandering around in Milan without a map. I had a
suitcase and a vaccuum cleaner with me. I saw a lovely
house with two women vaccuuming so I joined in
thinking it was a hotel. It wasn't. It was a holiday
house for three sisters and their children. One of the
sisters was a successful author and shoe designer.
They lived on central submarine standard time. They
were late arriving in Milan because the submarine had
to go back to Gibralter to pick up the table napkins
for the season.

I no longer wonder where you got your sense of humor or how Holysister came up with Little Bigpig, Alabama.

Cool. How did she teach herself that? Would she would give lessons. I really wish I could do that.
Basically, I wake up remembering that something very strange was happening, feeling quite unsettled, but wondering why.

That is so cool. Sometimes I can remember great details. But my dreams were my first pregnancy sign. Of course I didn't realize that the first time. But with #2 I could tell I was pregnant before I was even one day late just because of the "style" of my dreams.

Okay...that was an...um...interesting dream....

I'm not going to attempt to decipher that one, but I do find it quite interesting that one of the sisters had a particular interest in shoes, and was a successful author. Sounds like foreshadowing to me. :)

It was wonderfully odd; but the best part is that she actually shared it with you, and you shared it with us. Fascinating!

Great dream. It sounds like one of mine. However, I don't possess her skill in remembering them. Only occassionally do I have total "dream recall".
