I have used the Schick Quattro for Women. It was pretty good at first, but lost its' effectiveness with remarkable speed. I've never used the Venus razor, so no opinion there. My favorite razor is the (men's...shhh, don't tell) Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. Perfect shave. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!!!
Haven't tried either of those, but I do like the Bic Soleil (http://www.bicworld.com/soleil_root/index.asp). Fits nicely in the hand, great shave.
Of course it's winter now and I've quit actually shaving my legs... TMI? Oh. Sorry.
Venus, totally. And yes, I actually bought that vibrating Venus, but in my defense, it was actually cheaper than the regular Venus. However, the room it needs for a battery throws off my grip. So, after all that, my ballot on this important election day goes to the plain ol' blue Venus.
I have used both of those and prefer the Venus. And that is only because my very very old mach 3 (husband's) ran out of good blades and it was too expensive to get more, so I used my daughter's Venus. *nice* But she'd kill me and probably have dna work up done to prove I used it, so I'm scared of her! lol
BUT to beat those all to little tiny pieces, my husband got a free Gillette Fusion in the mail and it is WONDERFUL!!!! He's not as mean as my 16 yr old, so I use his all the time and even bought refills for it today even though they are more expensive than the mach 3. PLUS it is very cool looking ....blue and orange.

I'm a Venus Divine girl...I tried the vibrator one (although I didn't actually realize it vibrated when I bought it) Hated it! And I know hate is a strong word but I did. Now I'm back to the Divine with moisture strips. I tried the Intuition but couldn't get over the short funky handle.
i tried the venus and didn't like it. i felt like it didn't shave all the hair off. so that's not good.

I agree with Blaine! Gillette Mach 3 Turbo is the best... both hubby & I use it (we each have our own, of course - he doesn't like to share).
But between the two you mentioned, I've tried both, and prefer the Quattro - very smooth legs indeed.
I also like the Schick Intuition, but the blades wear out unbelievably fast - but I love the convenience of this razor!
I used to use Schick (pretty sure it wasn't the Quattro), but when they stopped making the blades for mine I decided to try Venus. I can't say I have much of a preference for either one over the other.
The one thing I did like about the Schick is that the holder stuck to the shower wall by suction cups so you could move it. The Venus uses sticky pads so if you stick it, it's there to stay. For that reason alone, I may start using Schick again when it's time to replace my Venus, unless things have changed.
I completely prefer the Venus! SOOO much closer of a shave! BUT, even better is the men's Mach 3!!! My dd and I share a Venus razer and we can go 3 weeks sharing a razor head! It lasts and lasts and gives one of the closest shaves out there. I've gotten all 3 of those razors as free samples, so just have to buy the replacement heads.

For the record, I want to say that I am a major cheapskate - I have tried nearly every razor ever made, but I didn't purchase a single thign! Somehow I got on a sample mailing list, and every company sends me their latest greatest invention. I rarely have to buy razors for myself - I'm usually using a sample from somewhere!
Now if I could just figure out how I got on that list, I'd share the secret address! :-P
Well, I used the Schick Quattro and ran out of blades one day so I used my husbands Gilette Mach 3 and fell in love with it. I got one and trashed the Quattro. Then when out of town one time I forgot my razor and my Granny picked one up for me. She got me the Venus. It was okay, but I really liked the Mach 3. One day I dropped my Mach 3 and it broke. So I dug out the Venus. It needed a new blade so I tried using a Mach 3 blade and guess what. It worked. So I have a mix and match razor. :) At least we can tell whose is whose around here.
I have the Venus. Its cute and gets the job done. No complaints!! COme visit tomorrow and see my contest. Jennifer
